Happisburgh School, as part of the national Space for Sports and Arts programme has excellent new facilities. These include a hall with a specialist sprung floor and changing facilities with showers. We shall be able to offer a wide variety of courses, workshops and events. The venue has been designed for both school and community use.
Our aim is to encourage access, participation and success for children and the local community.
The hall is 124.5 sq. metres with a sunken wooden sprung floor which is suitable for a variety of sports, plus dance and drama activities. There are two large storage rooms, one for PE equipment and the other for community use. The changing facilities include showers and lockers (keys available on request). There are separate changing and showering facilities for disabled users. All areas are accessible by wheelchair users.
We have purchased staging, a PA system and keyboard for use in the hall. Other items on our wish list include badminton equipment, basketball hoops and 5-a-side goals.
The Hall can be hired for £15 per hour. (2nd hour half price)
