Ofsted Report 2015

15 December 2015

Dear Parents, Guardians and Carers

Happisburgh (C of E) VA Primary School – OFSTED Report

We have now received the final report from OFSTED following our inspection on 1 December 2015 and I am pleased to distribute this to you. The report will be published on the OFSTED website from 5 January 2016; however, we are allowed to distribute it to parents and carers in advance.

This inspection was carried out under the new OFSTED Framework for inspections that has been in place since September 2015, and our school continues to be good.

I am delighted that we have maintained our good judgement. However, this doesn’t diminish our desire to achieve outstanding in the future.

Please take time to read the report as it sets out where we currently are as a school. It reflects the huge amount of work that has taken place in the last 18 months to move the school forwards. What should be pleasing for everyone involved with the school is that the report recognises the rapid progress we have made in the last year and the positive impact that this has had on our students.

I would like to thank everyone for their support since I became Headteacher. The improvements that have taken place have only happened because of the full support of the parents, the support of the Governing Body, the hard work of the students and the dedication and expertise of the staff. I am incredibly proud of the outcome from this inspection.

This is an exciting time for the school and I look forward to continuing our success in the coming years.

Once again, thank you for your continued support.

Yours faithfully

Julia Pestell
